Flashy Ice Cream has established itself as one of the pioneer groups of urban music in Catalan. Their unique fusion of trap, rap, urban pop and dancehall has conquered the hearts of thousands of young people across the country. Pol Giancana and Sneaky Flex have become true references of urban music in Catalonia, creating a remarkable impact with their lyrics 100% in Catalan. With almost 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone and notable participation in media such as TV3's Disc de La Marató and performances at events such as the ELS40 stage in La Mercè, as well as presence in festivals such as Cruïlla XXS, Telecogresca, the Meridiana Rock, Strenes Urbana and Acampada Jove, Flashy Ice Cream has left its mark at every step.
After all this trajectory and spending a few months in Argentina collaborating with local producers and artists, the Flashys are at the culmination of a new stage. Throughout 2024, the group from Sabadell will release their new album 'Sempre Joves', which promises to be the best in their history! They have already advanced 'Sempre Joves x1' and 'Sempre Joves x10', two volumes where they go through styles such as reggaeton, Drum & Bass and Uk Garage, up to House Techno, Afro and Mambo; and where they collaborate with artists such as Mushkaa and The Tyets, among others; all this with the best producers on the scene such as Pep Saula, Scotty DK and the Roots. Now, the Flashys are about to present us with the third volume 'Sempre Joves x100', before that, however, they have already given us a first preview with 'GINA' and now they present us with 'Perdent el rumb', a collaboration with Ginestà and with Pep Saula in the production. 'Losing your way' is living in the present moment, giving quality time to the people you love and to yourself and connecting, in this way, with everything that is pure and real, leaving behind all the everyday banalities and wasted time in a routine that enslaves us.
'Perdent el rumb' comes from the hands of the leading groups of the Catalan music scene: Flashy Ice Cream and Ginestà, a connection that seemed utopian, but now, they have found and connect directly with the essence of the universe pop!
Warm up your engines with this new single and get ready for the presentation of the entire album 'Sempre Joves' on January 24th at the Sala Apolo in Barcelona with the Cruïlla Festival!
